2ND INFANTRY REGIMENT, CALIFORNIA STATE MILITIA DENIES ASSOCIATION WITH AND PARTICIPATION IN LOCKDOWN PROTEST IN HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA. FURTHER DENIES ANY AFFILIATION WITH “COLONEL BRYAN HUNT”, OR the 31ST FIELD FORCES AND/OR ANY UNITS THEREOF

The State Militia is a legally recognized unit according to CA Military and Veterans Code 120-130.
Under CA law, the official commander of our state militia is the current governor.
Bryan Hunt’s claims of being a ‘State Commander’ are not recognized by the 2nd Regiment.
The is no ‘Unified’ State Command Headquarters, and there is no “commission, appointment or assignment” as a “State Commander.”
The State Militia is unorganized, meaning there is no overall commander, except the Governor.
The Governor of California may at their discretion, activate the militia as they see fit.
All Militia units within California determine leadership off their own units.
The 31st Field Forces and all units, detachments and/or sections are a part of that unit only.
There is no affiliation with, or authority of command over, the 2nd Infantry Regiment.

ALPHA COMPANY, 2ND INFANTRY REGIMENT, CALIFORNIA STATE MILITIA ASSISTS FOOD DRIVE IN YUCCA VALLEY, CA
YUCCA VALLEY, CA APRIL 2020 for immediate dissemination to all outlets.
Member of Alpha, Dog and Hotel Companies of the 2nd Infantry Regiment, California State Militia are participating in a food drive
in coordination with the San Bernardino County Volunteers Active in Disasters (VOAD).
We will be assisting by handing out food and providing security during the event.
The event will be at 288 Old Woman Springs Rd, Yucca Valley, CA 92284.
The event is from 0900 hrs until 1230 hrs or until the food runs out.

CALIFORNIA STATE MILITIA, 2ND REGIMENT HOLDS MARCH FTX
YUCCA VALLEY, CA, March 2016 for immediate dissemination to all outlets.
The 2nd Regiment of the California State Militia held it's monthly training event in March. Named Operation Cattle Drive.
As a part of membership, our members participate in these trainings monthly.
Members train as a Squad first, then together as a whole unit.
This month, the Regiment trained on topics such as:
Land Navigation, Map Concepts, Radio Usage, and Search and Rescue
All members that attended learned and honed skills critical to the safety and protection of our communities.
This training allowed our members to utilize leadership, command and control, and critical thinking, which would assist our local community in the event of crisis.

CALIFORNIA STATE MILITIA, 2ND REGIMENT HOLDS OPEN RECRUITMENT AND ANNOUNCES NEW UNIT
YUCCA VALLEY, CA, August 2017 for immediate dissemination to all outlets.
The 2nd Infantry Regiment of the California State Militia is announcing Open Recruitment for the Fall/Winter Cycle.
In addition, our organization has added a new unit, based in the Sacramento Area of California.
Opportunities now exist for California citizens in Southern California Counties of Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Imperial. Northern Citizens can join the Sacramento area unit.

CALIFORNIA STATE MILITIA, 2ND REGIMENT ISSUES STATEMENT ON ORGANIZATIONS POLITICAL STANCES
YUCCA VALLEY, CA, May 2016 for immediate dissemination to all outlets.
In light of the current political climate, and given that our unit stands to protect and defend the constitutional rights and freedoms guaranteed by our US Constitution, Bill of Rights, and State Constitution, the 2nd Regiment, California State Militia wishes to clarify our organizations political stance:
ALL MEMBERS, Active, Inactive, or our Supporters are encouraged to take a political stance of their own free from coercion, or direction from our unit.
They are free citizens and as such have the right to decide on the issues and candidates for themselves.
We encourage all of our members to participate in the political process as they deem fit, and in no manner do we coerce, or expect a member to vote in a specified manner.
As an organization, the 2nd Regiment, California State Militia does not officially endorse any single candidate
